We feel that experience in the wine trade, WSET Advanced Certificate and a successful track record selling direct to the on-trade are the key ingredients.

“My job is to identify potential on-trade customers such as high quality bars, restaurants, gastro-pubs and golf clubs and to introduce them to Majestic’s unique wine and service proposition. In a typical week I meet 5 new potential customers. I find out what they are looking for from a wine supplier and see if we can provide them with something better than they are currently receiving…Usually we can! I then have to forge a genuine and on-going business relationship with them in order to maintain trust and improve both theirs and Majestic’s wine sales. The only way Majestic on-trade can sell more wine is if our clients sell more wine!”
