Despite having grown up wanting to be a professional golfer, Ben has spent his entire career at Majestic, starting in 1994. Since then, he’s worked his way round many of the classic French regions and come to the conclusion that there’s nothing in the wine world quite like a decent white Burgundy. Ben’s dined at legendary Spanish restaurant El Bulli and rates it as the best meal he’s ever eaten.

Business Development Manager
Mark has been at Majestic since his career began in 2004. In this time his interest in wine has steadily increased with visits to Champagne, Fitou and most recently to Penedes and Rioja. If he could wave a magic wand over the wine industry he would make it less pretentious. In his spare time you will be likely to find Mark sipping a smooth Italian Barbera with a bowl of Pasta Alla Matriciana, made from his trusty River Café Recipe book, a sure-fire way to recover from one of his 5k runs.

As a little girl India dreamed of becoming an RAF fighter pilot but trips to Champagne and Rias Baixas has fermented her career in wine. Pleased to see that women are widely accepted in the wine industry these days India is currently waiting for her final results having just completed the WSET diploma course. In her spare time India may well be found reading her favourite book The Three Musketeers on the beach or enjoying a chilled glass of Chardonnay.

Sophie is currently studying for the WSET diploma and is most enthusiastic about the Palomino Fino grape since going on a trip to Jerez, the home of Sherry. Sophie would love to visit the luxurious island of Mauritius but at the moment is more likely to be found treating herself to her favourite food moules frites in front of X-factor... although a recent meal out at Chez Bruce and too many pairs of shoes to count suggests it's not all bad!

Business Development Manager
Ed has been with Majestic since 2007 and having managed the Sale and Nottingham stores, he is relishing the move to the Commercial department. His love for Rhone wines is matched only by his passion for mountain biking and his favourite country is the north of England.
