A Majestic man since 1994, Richard’s one wish for the wine world would be that producers were more adventurous with their country’s indigenous varietals. His number one region is undoubtedly Bordeaux, which is why his ideal dinner party would involve a bottle or two of Chateau Palmer ’82 along with Ricky Gervais and Roger Daltry. There is no film guaranteed to make Richard laugh like There’s Something About Mary.

Business Development Manager
Before joining Majestic in 2006, Fiona travelled around Australia and the US, where she found her way to an impressive selection of wine regions. Nowadays, if money were no object, her first destination would be Central Otago. On the subject of money, Fiona’s most expensive wine purchase is a £100 bottle of Brokenwood HBA Shiraz. Her Thai soup is a dish truly to be savoured.

A lover of Chardonnay, paella and fish and chips, Al joined Majestic in 2002. In the years that have followed, he’s not only gained his WSET Diploma, but also fulfilled his cricketing ambitions in 2007 by scoring a century for Lee 2nd XI. Having toured the wine regions of Chile, he now has his sights set firmly on Argentina.

Business Development Manager
Winner of the Women’s British Black Belt Championship for Tae Kwon Do Sparring & an ex-Police Officer, Tiffany likes a challenge – so she recently joined Majestic’s Commercial team having completed 3 years in retail. She is currently studying for her WSET Diploma after achieving a distinction in her Advanced Certificate. If Tiffany has to pick a type of wine to accompany her love for cooking, it would be something distinctly Italian.

Key Account Manager
Diane joined Majestic in 1995 and over the years has made a fantastic contribution in store and has now joined the Commercial team for new challenges. Diane has visited vineyards all over the globe and is rather partial to a drop of Champagne! Diane is a massive animal lover and has an adopted donkey - Mr Crusty. To combine her passions Diane would love to share a bottle of Dom Pérignon with David Attenborough to discuss animals in the wild.

Business Development Manager
A new Majestic recruit in Spring 2011. Simon has specialised in the On-Trade having worked in the sector since 1989 when he joined Courage. An interest in wine developed into a desire to specialise in the sector following completion of WSET qualifications. An enthusiastic cook, wine and food matching are a weekly enjoyment and if he gets the chance, Simon would like to re-visit Napa Valley, California and in particular The Frogs Leap Winery.

Key Account Manager
Tim started his Majestic life in 2000 and is a Chardonnay fanatic, from Fine White Burgundies to big bold examples from all around the world. His ultimate dinner guests would be Martin Johnson and Tiger Woods and would include the consumption of a bottle of DRC Montrachet. A keen golfer Tim can also be found amongst the entrants in 10k and half marathon races across the country. If Tim could have one wish it would be for his beloved Exeter Chiefs rugby club to lift the European Cup.

Key Account Manager
John has been with Majestic since 2005 and since then has travelled to the vineyards and wineries of Champagne, Port, Spain and combined wine tours of Australia whilst supporting Jenson Button to his first Melbourne Grand Prix win. His favourite food and wine match is port and Stilton - a classic, but wishes people would do it all year round. A recent achievement for him is completing the marathon du Medoc whilst sampling Bordeaux's finest, including Leoville Barton 2006 and barrel samples of Ch Batailley 2009!
